Christian music over recent years has seen a healthy influx of bands such as POD., Every Day Life and Disciple, catering for an ever expanding niche within the hardcore genre of music, where rap is blended with hard edged funk to create a new hybrid of 'modem' metal. Spoken is the latest in a number of bands to emerge on the scene. Backed by Metro One -home to the likes of Blackball and Precious Death - Spoken's debut album 'On Your Feet' offers great music and an even more important message of hope and life in Christ. Throughout the album, the band effortlessly move between sonic intensity, melodic grooves and progressive undertones, resulting in a debut that's packed full of surprises. There is even a 'hidden' live track tagged on the end of the last song which proves Spoken to be a tight band both in and out of the studio; a plus in any band's book! Excellent!
