It offers “a unique collection… with a radical edge taken from recent Praise Mix releases.” Classic praise songs such as “History Maker”, “Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble” and “Many Are The Words We Speak” are included on this two-CD, 21-song collection. These particular songs are executed well, especially the dance mix on “History Maker” (which appeared on the ’98 ‘Praise Mix’ edition). However, other songs are forgettable and others are less than inspiring renditions of undoubtedly classic songs. There were disappointing versions of “I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever”, “I Found Jesus” and others. The ‘Praise Mix’ series claims to offer praise and worship that fits into today’s music culture. However I find that some of the songs are stuck in a time warp. If you want really contemporary praise and worship see the Resource 2000 album.
