If you're a staunch devotee of ambient, meditative music then maybe you're already familiar with Stephen Rhodes. This is, impressively, his eighth album since 1992 and some of his music is currently being used in Christian workshops. Here are cushions of tranquil synths with melodic keyboards playing haunting refrains. It is genuinely relaxing though the purple prose on the sleeve is distinctly OTT. "Imagine a walled garden left undisturbed for generations. Waiting to be discovered, it holds many secrets, stories, feelings and echoes of a bygone age. But now you've discovered it, let the garden embrace you and reveal to you its secrets." Still, if you're looking for peaceful, meditative music, this may be for you.
