A stop gap release from the CCM superstar but not one without interest. A CD and DVD package, the audio CD was "recorded at historic Abbey Road studios" and features new versions of five songs from Steven's recent past. These stripped down versions, crammed full of scorching bluesy acoustic, are impressive and on both "Lord Of The Dance" and "The Walk" Steven comes on like a sanctified Tony Joe White. The DVD is a 60 minute documentary, 'The Walk', and, apart from some bad hair days in the early footage, is an interesting run through the life of the CCM icon, if a tad one-dimensional. There are some bonus features as well including an audio commentary from Steven and a Gospel Music Channel profile on the man. Big Chapman fans will want this release, others will wait for a "proper" album from the Nashville songsmith.
