This is an album of protest songs about war produced by the Anglican Pacifist Fellowship. It is packed in an environmentally friendly CD case made of recycled cardboard with a cover design depicting the eclipse. It is born out of the idea of promoting pacifism through songs that portray Jesus as a pacifist and argue for this stance against the many wars that we see in our world today. Sue Gilmurrary is also a supporter of the 25 year old Campaign Against Arms Trade and this comes over in biting satire about the "suits in the city" and "Britain PLC" who sell the weapons that do the killing. But despite some interesting lyrics these songs come over to me as very dated. I'm also unconvinced that they would convert many people to this cause. But if you are interested in joining either of these movements then check out this album.
