A personal tragedy - a serious injury to her young son - delayed the followup to Susie's phenomenally successful, award-winning Integrity debut 'Real Love', but here at last it is and on first play it is every bit as easy on the ear as its predecessor. Susie's strength is slow country ballads like "Call The Family Together" while the knee slapping hoedown "Give Love An Inch" with some nice fiddle from Stuart Duncan pumps along engagingly. My favourite cut is a song of consolation in Christ "Come As You Are" though Susie's revival of the old Reba Rambo dittie about a praying old lady "God You Never Cried" with its Appelachian harmony is also very effective. Crisply produced by Lenny LeBlanc, Susie has cut a satisfying if not innovative country gospel album.
