This features a different TVB line up from that of their current 'All Heaven Sings' release. In truth TVB may work well live but this album was past its sell-by date before it hit the shelves: an unimaginative, pedestrian outing which goes nowhere and moves nothing. I can't see the point in it. The song covers add nothing to the originals and the oh-so-sincere gifted amateur delivery ingratiates - with predictable arrangements and uncertain harmonies which contradict the no-gap tracks. Where's the fire? A bunch of evangelists giving their all on the road is hardly justification for an album these days. Rescue factor? "Deepest Love", a song penned by the under-used consummate muso Robert Marshall and sensitively rendered by either Louise Hunt, Naomi Lawrence or Angela Millie - nobody bothered to tell us. A preach of an album.
