Down the years there have been literally hundreds of attempts by CCM acts to inject new life into yuletide evergreens. Some have been more successful than others and this download EP by the independent label Razzbarry Records started by Code Of Ethics man Barry Blaze is reasonably good. The low point is a wince-inducing version of that dreadful ditty "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" by The Great Transparency while the standouts are "Angels We Have Heard On High" by Temple Veil and "Joy To The World" - with a nice techno pop groove - by Code Of Ethics themselves. Worth investigating.
