Another move to ring a few changes on the praise-and-worship-conveyer-belt. Take a talented US singer/songwriter (they've already done Morris Chapman) add the smooth-as-silk voices of the Maranatha Singers and record the whole gang live at a praise celebration. As expected, it's over produced - all those live glitches exterminated, and the format jars. Terry's songs and faintly country delivery are pleasant enough: "Hear The Hallelujahs Ring" is a praiseworthy composition. Of the choruses, "The Battle Belongs To The Lord" is skilfully executed, and the melodically sparse Crouch's "Soon And Very Soon" is quite presentable. Terry finishes with "He Who Began A Good Work In You" (. . .will be faithful to complete it), but I would prefer to hear the culmination of his works as a studio album rather than more ersatz worship.
