A wash of watery keyboards and somewhat idiosyncratic monotone vocals mark the entrance and the continuation of a reliable album from Mr Fogle. It is the curiously rigid vocals that provide the character for an album that indicates a Christian soldier faithfully declaring the way (as mirrored by the processional military march of "Jesus Of Nazareth"). Occasionally the backing vocals of Annisia Royal harmonise and complement this gifted talent to great effect as on "Standing In The Eye Of A Hurricane" and "I Go To Prepare A Place". It is the beguiling wit of "God's Album" that shows the singer's true humility and the overall importance of having our names written in the Book of Life and not the fading apparent treasures that we tend to value here on earth (like being remembered on disc). The ethereal "Thank You Lord" provides a dreamlike ending with distinct echoing vocals and a hymn-like synthesiser. This collection of songs indicate the genuinely thankful heart of a sincere and talented worshipper that may not exactly 'rock the house' bul prove pleasantly optimistic and worthwhile.
