A new trio managed and produced by one time Broken Heart man Jerome Olds, The Brothers, according to the marketing hype, "fill a very important gap." And what is that gap? Children who "outgrow kiddie music but aren't ready for adult contemporary music." Hmmm. Suffice to say that this team offer a set of well produced pop hip hop numbers and some pop gospel songs as well in squeaky unbroken voices. Rather infectious though the short playing time once you discount the three karaoke tracks and the heartfelt ballad "Make My House A Home (A Child's Prayer)" ruined by a teeth-grating vocal make it an album hard to recommend even if you know a child in that marketing gap.

The Brothers changed my life. I felt like my house wasn't a home and I cried to God to help me get up cuz I fell down. Then I heard The Brothers singing, and it's like they're MY father! It's a miracle, what can I say? But okay, let's talk reality. I love you guys so much, please come to Malaysia to do a tour. Me and all my friends will come and watch, it's a fact. You're my life. Love from Kevin (your biggest fan)!

I LOVED the Brothers since the first time I saw them at Kingdom Bound around 1996 I believe. I wish I could find more on the web about them, because I'd love to have this album back and I'd love to be able to share this with others :).

I wish I would've heard of them when I was younger...I was about 3, 4, or 5 when they were just by themselves but I'm glad I know them today as FF5, they're a blessing.
