The imaginatively-titled 'Best Of album contains "three great new songs" (quoted from enclosed gumph) that are set to become "Continental classics" (quote no 2). What you get is a medley of songs from the gang, belting out tune after tune. Yawn. Interesting bits include solos by Sandi Patti and Larnelle Harris and "The African Lord's Prayer" is one of the soon-to-be "classics". That old timer, "Jericho", is given a kick into the '90s via a rap and a funky bass line. But poor Sandi Patti. How on earth did she get roped in to do the dreadful "One More Song For You"? It makes the Carpenters look like the enfants terribles of rock. Larnelle Harris, bless his cottons, is another victim in the plot. Even his usually mega vocals can't salvage this sinking ship.

I have been member of Continental 1995, and those memories of the wonderful time I had with the Continentals, are unforgettable.
Should I kindly ask you for a CD with the songs of Celebrate of the Continental 1995.
Wishing you the Best, May God Bless Continentals for their contribution in the way of praising Jesus Lord.

With great respect

D
