These doyens of the Charismatic Renewal famed tor their folksey sensibilities and communal.lifestyle keep penetrating the world i with songs of praise and worship.  In fact they havet it again (what's this, tape number 15?) and their fans -yes, all you retired school marms and members of the blue-rinse set - will be pleased to hear that the Fisherfoks standard has not decreased one bit.  It hasn't increased either but then it hasn't decreased.  Something I reaty enjoyed was the soft synth beat.  I think the sitting room electric organ is such a novelty these days. The songs are as banal, the harmonies as dreary as ever.  But having said that I don't really hold anything against this album.  Or rather I shouldn't, after all, the Lord is obviously on the Fisherfolk's side - he must be... how else could they survive in the music business without his help?

Drew Kelleher needs to learn some manners, and to live out his Christian faith. If he actually has any, but I see no fruit of it in his attitude. He does not have the right to be disparaging or insulting of people who have dedicated their lives to serving
God, and even sacrificed their material wealth to live in the Community of Celebration. Nor does he have the right to be rude to all of us who grew up learning the faith-filled Biblical songs that the Fisherfolk have sung so beautifully.
Drew also does not appear to understand that this is about God's message in the Bible and about worshipping God in Spirit and in truth. Praise and Worship are not about commercial music or the performers.

The Fisherfolk albums have been a great blessing to my spiritual growth. Amazon, UK does have a few of their recordings as well as Celebration music in Houston TX.

The reviewer should be careful of flippancy. The mockery of the "fisherfolk fan club" is pretty uncalled for. If it's not your taste ...so be it...but save the snide remarks please. They're not exactly in keeping with the Lord, you so casually mention

Shelah,
I find David downright rude. With so little evidence of understanding either God's people or worship, what on earth is he doing actually reviewing material on a Christian site?

Shelah,
I can hardly believe I find another Fisherfolk fan in SA. Do you know where I can get any of there music on CD?
