Have missed hearing the Fisherfolk for a very long time. Just came across the site. They are a wonderful group of individuals who have enlightened us for a very long time. My sister and I have really appreciated their ministering in song since we first heard them many years ago. God Bless you

I loved the fisherfolk and heard them live in the 90's in leeds it was like being transported into heaven. I heard that they stppped recording/playing and gave up everything to help a very poor community in south america and could understand that bit miss their music. I saw this when i was looking for 'sweet child rest a while here by my stream'. I had a number of tapes but got rid of them as they went wobbly.

How lovely to find this site. I've searched for quite some time to replace my 'gone to heaven' tapes. Like all of you they were played till worn out. I mentioned it in passing to a friend and Praise God, she was about to pass her old Christian Music on and it included the 2 tapes I used to have....how Good is God ?! Thanks Rev. John for their website name...I feel I am back in touch with my early Christian days...so good to hear of the Fisherfolk still prospering. Are there any related groups in the Sydney / Blue Mountains region ?? Blessings

The Community of Celebration has transcribed some of the Fisherfolk albums to CD. However, the word is SOME, not all. I have transferred my own Fisherfolk records to CD (which is a pains-taking process and took years). But there are still several missing from my collection. If you have records or good-quality tapes, first get written permission from Celebration Services to copy them for your own use, then get them transcribed to CD by someone with a high-quality tape player, a sound card and a computer.

I was going through a really hard time in my life, and i heard the song " Rest Awhile", and it saved me. My daughter found the cd for me. It was quite a feat for her, because i didnt know , song name, singers, etc. It was just meant to be. Well totally different circumstances, now. Everything has been taken from me(including the cd) Lost the house my daddy built, Then it caught on fire before I found someplace to go, and that was JUST the beginning. They say God doesnt give you more than you you can handle, but this time He Really underestimated me. Im too, Sick , and Im too tired, I cant do this anymore. God I Need To Hear This Song. Does anybody know how i can do that? I dont want to record or steal it, Just hear it

Carolyn, oh my sweet Jesus, I'm just seeing this. I hope someone got that song to you last April. This never made it to my attention. As far as I'm concerned you can have access to that song anyway you can get it!!!! I'm sure Stephanie would agree. She is the author of the words and I composed the music.
