The Griffiths Brothers are a talented family bunch from Swansea who have put the midi part of this album together at home and recorded the horn section, guitar and vocals at Peter King's studio, the King's Palace. The arrangements are very jazz influenced with some fairly mellow numbers and some more funk-based stuff giving the album a nice balance. The tightness of the Brothers as a horn section is impressive, I once heard someone say that it seemed as though they were in fact themselves midi-linked, they certainly have worked hard on their sound and this is an excellent debut.
