The International House of Prayer in Dallas has once again produced an innovative and unique worship experience. The album's opening song "Dub The Morning Star" begins with the sharp sound of seagulls and children's voices can be heard offering thanks for creation, which the song focuses around. Then the song of praise itself begins and this gentle yet powerful number with an infectious beat and strong lyrics unfolds. This album, however, offers a great variety of music styles. The urban "Breathe In" features some stunning rapping, a dramatic melody and a heart warming chorus. There are also several beautiful worship songs such as "Dad's Song" and "Beginning". "Dad's Song" talks simply of how God welcomes us as a father and is an inspiring song of response to his undying love. "Beginning" is the first track to feature the gorgeous vocals of Deidre Johnson. It has a haunting melody and an uplifting chorus which echoes the cry of Heaven in Revelation. 'Praise: The Gladheart Seris Vol 2' is, overall, an album which offers something different to children's music filling in the gap between the younger action songs and the older youth worship albums.
