Though the quaintly dated band name led me to expect some guitar strumming evangelists straight out of a '60s time warp 'Victorious' is very much now music. In fact it's a band built very much around the sequencer and drum programming of leader Chris Coulter. Fairly engaging dance-rock, the trio's vocalists Pauline Coulter and Clive Parnall sing quite well, while the lyrics are pretty straight ahead devotional. The main problem is that the songs are rather ordinary.
