A husband and wife duetting duo from Stotts City, Missouri are a couple with two evident loves in life, their faith and their country music. The banjo, fiddle and low rumbling vocals are all here in plentiful supply but thankfully the lyrical offerings go beyond the "Don't leave me baby" and "Goodbye sweetheart" country subject matters as they affirm their faith in Christ in each minute of the recording. Included are covers of classics "How Great Thou Art" and "Amazing Grace" both providing moments of instant familiarity. The Rileys' hope for the future features throughout, most notably in tracks "I Won't Have To Worry" and "Mansion Over The Hilltop" declaring "A brighter day is coming/I will walk on Heavens shore" and "We'll walk on streets that are pure as gold" respectively. Vocals can be a little shaky in places but on the whole the musicianship is of a good standard. I can imagine that the closing track "Don't Go Home Tonight Unsaved" is one that The Rileys would end live sets with as they challenge the unsaved to consider their own mortality. Without doubt the message contained within these songs will touch many hearts who listen to this God-centred duo.

If ever a couple deserved recognition and acclaim, this is the one. They are not only personable and good entertainers, but more importantly, they are just what they sing: honest, sincere and humble. With quick smiles and a warm hand clasp or a gentle hug, they they show their pleasure each time they greet you. If the world had 3 million more Rileys, this world would be a much different and better place in which to live.

GO RILEYS !!!!!!!!!!!!
