This is San Diego-based aggregation's third release and perhaps their strongest yet. "Lift Up The Name" kicks off the album in a gospel rock style with jazzy guitars and accompanying organ. The powerful vocals really extol the name of Jesus. Equally strong is a song of surrender and adoration, "I Trust You God". With its simple yet profound refrain, "I trust you God, I trust you in everything/With everything I am/Cause I know you God, and I know that your love for me is unfailing", it's an uplifting song which hopefully will be heard in churches beyond San Diego. A refreshing rendition of the classic hymn "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" features later in the album, with a fresh take on the original words not to mention the chorus suitably translated into a modern worship band setting. The piano-led 'One Word From God' carries a sweet narrative with a simple message whilst it's sound is reminiscent of IHOP's Jaye Thomas. While the production values fall short, this is compensated by clever arrangements and well-structured songs that could easily be picked up anywhere. I would recommend this to any worship leaders looking for new material.
