Three Christian pop princesses reveal their fun and lively debut album. CCM Magazine's 2009 nominated New Artist Of The Year, The Rubyz are Cammie, Marissa and Alexis. They describe their sound as "meaningful and fun all in one." All the tracks are funky, rocky and poppy and exude the kind of tweenie pop vibe that has made Hannah Montana and the High School Musicals hits in these sales-starved times. Rocking guitar riffs feature on "Staring At The Sun" and "Outrageous" and "13" is a melodious track on life as a 13 year old. The Rubyz bring a Latin/dance feel with "Baila Chiquita" urging us to "move to the rhythm." 'The Rubyz' is definitely an album which deserves the radio play Cross Rhythms have been giving songs like "We Shine", "Staring At The Sun", "Baila Chiquita" and "In My Life (I Don't Wanna)".
