The Star of David Singers came to my church when I was in high school. I bought one of their albums, Shout for Joy, and their anointed music blessed me for decades. Even now, with no turntable, I cannot read through the navi without those songs springing to my lips.
I want to let them know how much they continue to impact my life. The Word of God did not return void.
Also, I want to share their music with my sons. Whom can I email for CDs or other media?

I had heard of Johnny McDonough's passing - VERY sad! though Johnny wasn't actually part of the group, he was a dear friend and brother and a talented musician and songwriter. I can supply you with CDs of the SDS music, which will have one or two of his songs on them, but Johnny is not performing on them.

I would love to get my hands on CD or MP3 versions of the Star of David Singers material. I used to own 2 cassettes after hearing them in Caerphilly many years ago but cannot find them now. I was reading Ps 147 today and was reminded of their song. Blessed indeed. Can anyone tell me where I can get copies of those 2 cassettes today?? Thank you so much.

i am trying to get hold of the very first cassette tape of the star of david singers. I used to have it but it was lost when I moved house. It was an orchestral version of songs including a song they sang called "I am not ashamed of the gospel" incidentally their is a more recent song called "i am not ashamed of the gospel" but it is not the same song that the star of David singers sang. Please can any one help me on this. I would love to have this tape again and hear their music.

Yes, I am the same Chrissy Rodgers you mention, with the solo album ( addressed from PO Box 1, Golant, Cornwall). I was with the Star of David Singers for 10 years before doing that solo album.
Please feel free to contact me.

Saw Helen Shapiro in Nottingham yesterday.
Fantastic testimony and presentation, and a wonderful reminder that the Lord Jesus has power to save.
Was particularly blessed by Chrissy Rogers on guitar and vocals. Made it even more special and thank you if you're reading

Great stuff.

To Karen In Exeter in Devon. Have recently contacted Chrissy Rodgers who was lead guitarist with the Singers. Apparently, she holds the copyrights to the the music. You can contact her through Helen Shapiro's website "Manna Music". See her reply a little higher up on this page. God is so good !! George.
