Built around the haunting vocals of singer and keyboard player Kira Leyden and the fluid guitar work of husband Jeff Andrea, this group from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, have built up a good following Stateside thanks to the exposure of their songs in hit TV series like The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars. This, their fourth album, is probably their best yet. Kira said about it, "This collection of songs if more personal and goes deeper than anything we've written before." What is also clear is that the group's Christian faith, sometimes hinted at on previous albums, is more evident here. Particular standouts are the thudding beat pop rock of "Gone" and "Rain" with a bubbling, building arrangement. The lyrics here deal with struggle, pain and despair but are constantly infused with light and hope.
