The best way to describe this is a bit like Jars Of Clay with pianos. This a promising debut from American band The Straw Theory. The Main standout tracks include “In And Out”, “Falling Forward”, the soft ballad “Showers” and “We Believe” talking about the hope we have in God. Sixpence None The Richer singer Leigh Nash joins them on “Man On The Moon” and “Showers” and this makes a nice addition. Overall this is a good album and it sounds like the band could make it big, but now they are standing in the shadows of Jars Of Clay. This is well worth listening out for.
