A fascinating visit to the archives, John Michael and Terry Talbot first came to prominence with mainstream country rock band Mason Profitt and recorded their first gospel project together, 'Reborn', with a big budget for Warner Bros. Six songs from that album are included here, including the classic "In My Dreams". Next up there's four cuts from John Michael Talbot's solo debut 'John Michael Talbot' and one from Terry's first solo 'A Time To Laugh A Time To Sing'. The two albums the brothers recorded after pursuing solo careers 'The Painter' (7 tracks) and 'No Longer Strangers' (6 tracks) are generously represented. Fascinating and informative sleevenotes will keep trivia buffs happy so if you're an enthusiast of John Michael Talbot and have wondered about the work of John's lesser-known brother, or a CCM oldie seeking to replace scratched vinyl this 35-song 2-CD compilation is tailor made for you.

Terry Talbot's first Christian solo album was not "A Time to Laugh, a Time to Sing," but it was "No Longer Alone."
