Wytze Valkema is a worship leader from the Netherlands. The Worship Company was formed to add Celtic backing to his lyrics and includes Wytze's wife Ageeth, Nigel Cameron (behind the all-age worship release 'Get Real') and Julie Cameron-Hall. This collection of 10 tracks features songs written by Wytze, accompanied by a skilled bunch of musicians playing fiddle, Irish whistles, bouzouki and electric guitar, the latter two played by Dave Bainbridge of Iona. Lyrically, the album is worship-based especially in songs such as "Here In The Sanctuary" and "Burn". Often lyrics are repeated in songs such as "God Loves" encouraging meditation on the lyrics, which explores the love between the Father, Son and Spirit, while others explore Scripture - "Seven Horns" looks at Revelation Chapter 5 for example. Listened to in a worship context this collection has much to offer. However, to the casual listener it can prove a little overwhelming.
