A special edition of the Canadian heavy rock and rap band, the first scenes of the DVD have the band admitting they wanted a new challenge and a new feel to 'The Flame In All Of Us'. After a number of recommendations from their record label they picked out Ken Andrews after seeing him on the credits of the latest James Bond film. The resulting album, as fans who bought the standard edition of 'The Flame In All Of Us' will know, is crammed with crisp, punchy bass lines and guitar riffs which have more immediacy than any of the band's previous projects. The appeal of this special edition is the DVD which includes music videos, recording footage and watching the band filming their own version of MTV's cribs, but without the profanities. Their full on rock anthems like the title track and "Falls Apart" are definitely the strong points of the CD rather than the acoustic ballads. In fact, there are tracks on their album deserving of the mainstream American charts, if only they would get the airplay. Thousand Foot Krutch show that it is possible to produce quality clean heavy rock music and sets a precedent for many bands like them to follow.
