'Fence The Clear' is the second album to date for this Detroit-based band. Produced by Chris Andrews and Kevin Chown, Tiles' sophomore release has been mixed by none other than Terry Brown, the legendary producer for such bands as Rush. Fates Warning and Blue Rodeo to name but a few. 'Fence The Clear', whilst having a distinctive Rush feel, boasts some superb moments of sonic intensity interspersed by passages of subtle - and not so subtle - progressive phrasing unique to Tiles. Lyrically, the band express a positive message of hope amidst life's harsh realities: intelligently written for those who tire of pious platitudes and attitudes. Overall, Fence The Clear' is a well produced and executed album from a band well worth exploring!
