Formerly a stand-up comedian, Tom Golly from Nashville has released this seven-song mini-album. It opens with a 'Tubular Bells' style flourish as "Ocean (Nautical Miracle)" (also released as a single) rejoices in God's deep love and pleads, "lead me home beneath the waves of your ocean." The title track celebrates the freedom to be found in God's love and the singer resolves that he is "Not Going Back" to an insistent rhythm maintained by guitars and drums setting the tone, as crystal clear vocals declare his intention. "Let Your Heart Be Found" keeps up the album's drive with the passionate cry, 'Wake up all you sleeping giants, it's time for you to come alive'. "I Am You Are" is a gentler, mellower song for a broken generation while the final track "Come Home" increases in intensity as it progresses, with a strident chorus leading into a description of our glorious destination. Produced at Nashville's RMS Studios by Jake Jones and Justin Forshaw (formerly of We As Human), this is classy and inspiring pop.
