Tony has been a fulltime Christian worker into prisons for many years and with a telling testimony, prison and drug addiction before being wrenched free by God, has been much used by the Lord to proclaim hope to the hopeless. This is his third album and is a distinct improvement on the first two. Tony's voice is still rather limited and expressionless but a decent drum computer and synths now put a bit of beef in his accompaniments. His songs, concentrating on bleak vistas of drug addicts, latch key kids, and teenage suicides aren't always easy to listen to, but despite its irritations there's a strand of impassioned sincerity here that demands respect.
