I bought this album back in 1995 on a vinyl record. ( I used to play records way back then.) Tony has had some success with this album, so he has decided to re-release it on CD. Unfortunately it is sounding its age and would not appeal to the majority of readers of Cross Rhythms. It may however appeal to the over 40s. So if you are considering buying a gospel reggae album for your mum and dad for Christmas then I recommend this one. There are some old time favourite hymns and choruses that will get the older listener singing and rocking. I hope I'm not giving my age away too much by saying that I find myself singing along to most of the tracks on this CD, not because I have had the record since 1995 but because we still sing the hymns and choruses in a lot of the black Pentecostal churches today. Favourite tracks are 'Mt Carmel Medley 1 & 2' and 'Farther Along'.
