Recorded at the 10th Catch The Fire conference of Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship - 10 years on from the start of the “Toronto blessing”. Worship is mostly led by Robert Critchley, David Ruis and Jeremy Sinnott, mainly using their own songs but with a sprinkling of old hymns - which fit in well - and the highlight of the album for me is Tom Lane singing “Beautiful One” by Tim Hughes. Sometimes audience response is obtrusive; on the other hand, audience vocals, notably the responses on a weak version of “I Will Worship”, are mixed too low. I don't think recordings of worship events are as effective as those where the recording, rather than the event, is the thing, but this one works reasonably well. For me it's a not bad worship album in a world where there are some very good ones, but I do know people whose fire it would light.
