The well established Briston band offer a live acoustic set that captures the sort of summer vibe that you used to associate with Fairground Attraction and FYC. It's a cheerful feel the CD puts across, toe tapping and repeatable, you may well find yourself humming the music long after the CD has been playing. The words seem less memorable, the music drifting into the background rather than shouting in your face and upon first listen I found that few of the lyrics stuck in my mind. Towards the end of the set the audience find their own voices during a song, having previously applauded the beginning and ending of a song, and manage to give "While We Walk" and "Mass Damper" a larger sound in comparison to the other tracks on offer. All told this is one to get in preparation for the next long hot summer or to turn to when you don't want to drown out conversation.
