I don’t think it’s blind nationalism which leads me to observe that most of the best albums bearing the Vineyard moniker over the last few years have been British ones. The collective assembled under the Vineyard UK name have produced some memorable moments in contemporary worship music. And now this aggregation from Vineyard’s Nottingham church show themselves to be absolutely top quality. Vocalists/worship leaders Nigel Briggs and Kat Regester have strong voices, the guitars have sufficient bite to please all but most hardcore headbangers and the songs, like the throbbing mid tempo “The Sweetest Sound” and the Kat-led “King Forever”, will sound great on radio. Another triumph album from that pioneering stream of churches.
