Trevor Ranger works with children in the schools and churches of the West of England and this set of 12 lively songs comes out of that ministry. Each of the songs is clearly based on a different Bible passage (two from Psalm 139) and has an upbeat accompaniment, excellently produced by Paul Field and Andy Harsant, who also contribute their musical talents on a range of instruments and voices. These songs will appeal to children in the primary age range (four to 11 years old) with their memorable lyrics and their easily singable tunes. There's the odd silly voice and plenty of special effects to add to the entertainment in such songs as "Nothing To Stop You" (based on Hebrews 4:16), "My All" (Psalm 40) and "Subject Of Love" (John 13:34). Vocals are provided by the aforementioned producers, along with such familiar names as John Perry and David Lyle Morris. Plus there are a couple of school choirs to add to the general atmosphere.
