Calling your publishing company Radical Music demands something special when it comes to songs and Trish Morgan's latest album lives up to the name! The original voice of Heartbeat is fast growing into one of Britain's most admired worship leaders and this album will help her cause! Superior to her last set "Manifesto', the dreamlike "Wholehearted" opens the lid of what is an eclectic album. There's lots to get your teeth into here! At one end "All Good Gifts" is "We Plough The Fields" for the '90s and endowed with much poppiness by Kevin Jamieson's guitar work and Mark Edwards' drum programming. "If I Had Words" is an anthem of God breaking in and causing change. Musically, it's an intriguing blend of rhythms and strings creating a monster sound. At the other end, there's the simplicity of "Honest Heart" (beautiful piano and strings) and "There'll Come A Time" which acts as the album's finale and sound more Nashville CCM than British! In between, "I Will Exalt" is a poignant atmospheric song of worship born out of tragedy. This is Trish's finest album yet, combining spiritual depth with stimulating musical ideas. Well worth checking out!
