True Vibe are the latest arrivals to the glossy boy band-wagon. Their music is a composite of keyboards, smooth harmonies, programmed drums, various vocal effects and the odd Spanish guitar. It varies between the high energy pop of "Never Again" to the saccharine-laced soulful ballad "Without Love". The album ends with the stylistically incongruent "I Live For You", a competent if somewhat sterile acapella number. The lyrics tend to be as repetitive and hackneyed as many of their secular counterparts, only Christianised: "I was walking around, trying to put it down in total darkness," "I was searching nearly all my life," "I was all on my own with nowhere to run to," and "I was lost in darkness," are the opening lines from four different songs. Already a hit on Christian radio.
