I have this wonderful collection by Truth; even tho' I feel it falls a little short of "Best of". The cd starter song "JESUS Never Fails" from 1982 is so wonderful of a song:a #1 song in ccm. 4 Him member Kirk Sullivan joins the list of vocals for the song also.
Of course the track list would not be complete without
their memorable 1984 song "Gentle Hands"; Kirk Sullivan also sings lead for the duet on this song: I just love this song! The group's recording is top notch ccm! "Second to None" the title song from 1984 is included; co-written by Michael W. Smith: there are other songs from the 1984 album that this collection missed. The magnificent "YOU'LL Still Be
LORD of All" from 1987; a great song for the group!
This was their song to sing!! Great job everyone!!
This song was also a #1 hit for them in late 1987; the song was written by the Davis/Pedigo trio.
The last song is cd title "So Far, So Good"; this song
marks 20 years of "Truth" singing: 300 alumni through
the years-WOW! Anyone have any update what the group is doing for the last 10 years? This cd only provides 12 songs for all the years the group has been singing; more songs should have been included.
