Twila, winner of 10 Dove Awards and three American songwriter awards, has been present in the Christian music scene since the early '80s and has released 20 recordings including a greatest hits project. Present here on a 2CD set are a selection of most of her best known songs. Some songs sound a little dated and don't put Twila in her best light. The outstanding track for me is the Twila/Steven Curtis Chapman song "Faithful Friend" (from 'Where I Stand') though Twila's "He Is Exalted" is still a worship classic and her "God Is In Control" is a clever piece of hooky pop. What would have made the disc more interesting is some new bonus material, but as these are absent, it will not serve existing fans who will probably have the majority of these tracks already.
