After his sad and highly publicised fall into sin the gospel hitmaker has returned with his first solo album and pretty strong it is too. The title track is an '80s retro piece of funk which is already getting aired on Cross Rhythms radio. Elsewhere, there is a full on piece of worship, "Champion", which with Israel Houghton guesting sounds like an anthem you'd hear on one of Houghton's albums. Rock guitars show up on "Good" and "Eulogy" to give them a slight Hillsong flavour while the confessional "When The Rocks Hit The Ground" contains a powerful lyric on falling into sin and being lifted back by Christ with the album's outstanding vocal by Jaden Michaels. Also making a welcome guest appearance is the hugely underrated Mali Music. More than one reviewer has criticised 'Fresh' for its overuse of auto-tune but if you enjoy the sounds of modern gospel there is much here to entice and bless.

Product Description
Following on from 2008’s hugely successful chart topper 'Standout', stellar award winner Tye Tribbett (singer/songwriter & performer) is back with a brand new studio album 'Fresh.'
Working with a host of superstars, including Israel Houghton & gospel favourite Isaac Caree, Tribbett has left behind the GA, (Greater Anointing) the choir he created and led since 1996, to pursue a solo venture. This new venture sees Tribbett pursuing a new musical direction and a new musical sound, all consistently exemplifying Tribbett’s praise, worship and reverence for God.
