This is a live recording which the Nigerian-born worship leader recorded in Houston, Texas. When so many worship albums sound identical in style, no matter where on the planet they have been recorded, it's good to hear an album that has some African flavours included in the mix. The opening "My God Is Good" sets the scene with a sound which is influenced by township jive. Elsewhere, there is a medley of African worship songs and another highlight is the uplifting "More To Me". Along the way Agu takes time to use the songs to minister to the listener. His voice has a unique sound which might not appeal to everyone and at times when he really gets excited his voice breaks. Calling your album 'The Glory Experience' is either bold or hyperbole and this has its moments.
