Nothing is more pleasing for a music magazine than to chronicle a band’s development from its first tentative steps to the point, which has now arrived with V12, where their music is so spine-tinglingly fresh that you can confidently predict that the Big Time is just around the corner. In Daniel Wilcock the band have a lead singer whose gasping, snarling vocals sound unlike anybody else while on this exciting new single they are helped by heart-stopping production from Phil Brown. The searing guitars roar in and out of choppy, infectious rhythms in thrilling bursts of sound, and I’m left breathless.
