London's Victory Christian Centre is a thriving church with a hot worship team, and this album is a tightly made studio concoction produced and arranged by Steve Carmichael. There are plenty of good lead singers, Kay Abdul has an arresting contralto while Basede Owbridge and Banjo also impress. Also ear-catching are the tight horn section who add plenty of sass to these snappy soul-tinged anthems of praise. The weakness is the material. Despite the OTT press release enthusing that "Steve Carmichael's talent brought worship and praise to another level," most of these songs, for all the studio gloss, fail to register as being standouts alongside the Redmans and Zschechs of contemporary worship.
