Mother of five Vanessa Bell Armstrong almost has as many voices. She sure knows how to adapt her singing to suit a song. One minute she thunders her way through her title track duet with John P Kee with a power that is beyond description. Then she caresses your ears with a voice of pure silk. Herein is an album where the power and the peace somehow manage to blend to produce a collection that cannot fail to uplift and inspire. Here too, you will find all the familiar themes that are dear to the friends of gospel music. Countless singers must have sung songs with titles like "Don't Give Up", "Thank Ya" and "You Can't Take Away My Faith". But, there is no lack of originality amongst musicians of the calibre of Carvin Winans and Dorsey "Rob" Robinson. They provide the perfect support to the multi vocal Vanessa. That the album oozes with quality is largely a credit to the production skills of the late great Thomas Whitfield. So if you love R&B gospel and need something to encourage you in your walk with God, look no further.
