It is a dangerous title when you use the word 'Essential' in the description! That's what Essential (the label) have used for their new series, possibly just a nod to their name. It is however difficult to argue with the popular songs chosen here. The title track is a case in point, sung in children's gatherings in church every Sunday nationwide. Others include "Creator God" and a modern arrangement of the traditional "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" by Pete James. The songs are chosen from various albums including those by Nick & Becky Drake, Judy Bailey, Doug Horley and others and have a strong modern feel that will get even the most stubborn little feet tapping and is certainly one of the better collections for kids currently out there.
