The usual moans of course - not all the songs are "new", surely everyone within earshot of Soul Survivor has long been familiar with Redman's "Dancing Generation" while Johnny Parks' "God You Are My God (Glory)" and Gareth Robinson's "Good And Gracious" go back to 2001 while Sammy Horner's "When Everything Is Uphill (Victory In Defeat)" is a 1997 oldie. Secondly, we've all grown tired of Kingsway hiding the identity of the performing artists on their compilations - though I can report that Kate Simmonds, Geraldine Latty, Godfrey Birtill, Kristyn Getty and Gareth Robinson can all be heard on this 20-song compilation. The switch from live to studio recordings jars sometimes but there are plenty of excellent worship songs and hymns here. Shame about the packaging.
