Picking some of the greatest Christmas worship songs of all time, here is a collection that anyone would be happy to listen to while wrapping presents. Featuring artists from all areas of the Christian music scene, this record has some wonderfully enduring moments such as Darlene Zschech's rendition of "Silent Night" and MercyMe chip in with their version of "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear" while Kelly Willard's attempt at "Oh Come All Ye Faithful" is truly stunning. Less impressive are the anonymous Integrity Music Singers on "Holy Lamb Of God", "Joy To The World" and "You Are Emmanuel/Emmanuel" while MOR man Don Moen contributes a version of "Emmanuel Has Come". But it's the NewSong version of "Little Drummer Boy" which ensures this album is not just for the worship purists, but does have a different style for those looking for a different flavour. There is something for everyone on this tremendous two disc set, without a single turkey to be found.
