Resound Media is a small label and production facility based in Sheffield that has a small but growing roster of artists including Philippa Hanna, Andy Baker and Roo Walker, all of who have had favourable reviews on Cross Rhythms. This release is their sampler, an opportunity to discover some of the delights that they have, hopefully to tempt you to purchase some more of their albums. Opening with "Airtight" by Empire Nation, this is a confident slice of pop/rock with a catchy chorus. Philippa Hanna follows with "I Am Amazing", a great pop song with poignant lyrics and an excellent vocal. "Positive Music" from Roo Walker, much heard on Cross Rhythms radio, is a really unusual but incredibly catchy tune. Other excellent cuts are by GoldDigger, Spoken Groove and worship veteran Ian White. There is a wealth of excellent UK music here.
