Are You My Neighbour? helps children learn how to love others even if they look or act differently.

In this episode Bob the tomato and Larry the cucumber learn that loving your neighbour covers more than just those who live next door to you. The story of Fibber-o-loo retells the parable of the Good Samaritan with some memorable songs and shows that as far as God is concerned, your neighbour is anyone in need. With a brief interlude for a silly song, the now considered a classic "Hairbrush Song", we are on to a sci-fi spoof where Junior Asparagus discovers that loving your neighbour also includes appreciating those who are different rather than making fun of them. The extras include a how to draw Madam Blueberry, a family fun game to develop trust in each other, a karaoke version "I Can Be Your Friend" and a video documentary about how Big Idea started - parents only I think. My kids loved this and are already singing the songs incessantly.
