A lesson in trusting God

Reviewed by Steven Whitehead

Introduced by the infamous Pirates Who Don't Do Anything, this is the incredible story of one of the greatest Biblical heroes of all time - a cucumber chosen by God to defend his people against an army of 30,000 excessively hairy pickles! By this point in the review fans of these amazing singing and acting vegetables will know what is happening and will be saving up their pocket money to buy this DVD. The animation is better than ever, there are more bonus features than you can shake a stick (of celery) at plus a brand new silly song in "Ukulele Karaoke With Bob". That's Bob the Tom-ay-toe, as they say. To make things even sillier, Gideon is a tuba player in a marching band. Yes, well. It is a great story (Book of Judges Chapters six to eight) and this imaginative retelling went down a treat at the Elmhurst Church Sunday Club. The children liked it too.
