Great fun! 14 traditional American country/gospel classics jazzed up for the kids. The album is named after the Cohen Brothers film O Brother, Where Art Thou? and has a similar deep south feel to it. All our favourite Veggie characters are on the album. They stumble upon Grandpa Bob’s old time radio show after a power cut thwarts their TV watching plans and discover, or rediscover, the sounds of these old spirituals. This is great listening for all of the family as it uses old and loved songs in a contemporary and accessible way for children. ‘ O Veggie, Where Art Thou’ is a good introduction to the Veggie Tales characters (as seen in the popular cartoons) and will go down well with both Veggie fans and those who’ve never heard of Bob the Tomato or Larry the Cucumber!
